Home Wi-Fi installation and distribution
- Wi-Fi installation: a strong, reliable wireless connection for all your devices
- Wi-Fi distribution: access points or mesh placed to suit your home's layout, so the signal reaches every room
- Device set-up: TVs, phones, laptops and smart devices connected to the new network
We work in everything from small flats to large multi-room houses, fixing dropped connections and dead spots for good.
What we do
- Survey which rooms have weak or no signal
- Install mesh Wi-Fi or ceiling and wall access points
- Run network cable to access points for full speed in every room
- Extend Wi-Fi to garden offices and garages
- Set up your router and connect your devices
Why boosters often disappoint
Plug-in boosters repeat a signal that is already weak, so you get coverage but slow speeds. Running a cable to a second access point gives full speed in that room. We'll recommend whichever approach suits your property and budget.

Wi-Fi installation & distribution: common questions
Will mesh Wi-Fi work in a stone tenement?
Sometimes, but thick walls weaken wireless links between mesh units. A cable between units, where possible, gives much better results.
How long does a Wi-Fi installation take?
Usually between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the size and layout of your home and how many access points are needed.
What do I need before you install Wi-Fi?
A working broadband connection with a router, or a combined modem and router supplied by your broadband provider. We do the rest.
Can you replace an old router?
Yes. If your router is out of date or struggling, we can replace it with a modern one and set up your devices on it.
Can you install Ethernet cables too?
Yes. A wired connection to each access point gives the best Wi-Fi coverage, so we often run Ethernet at the same time. See Ethernet points and data cabling.
