Already have a Sky dish?
Freesat uses the same satellites as Sky, so in most cases your existing dish can be reused. We check it's sound and correctly aligned, add any extra cable your Freesat box needs for recording, and set the box up.
Sky Q and Freeview set-up too
As well as Freesat, we set up Freeview through your aerial and fit or upgrade dishes for Sky Q, including the wideband LNB and cabling Sky Q needs. If you're not sure which is right for you, we'll explain the options and costs before anything is fitted.
Freesat or Freeview?
Freeview comes through a TV aerial. Freesat comes through a satellite dish. Both are free. If you live somewhere Freeview reception is poor, such as behind a hill or a tall building, Freesat is often more reliable. We'll tell you which makes more sense at your address.

Freesat, Freeview & Sky Q: common questions
Is there any monthly cost for Freesat?
No. You pay for the equipment and installation once, then the channels are free.
Can I record programmes on Freesat?
Yes, with a Freesat recorder. Recorders need two cables from the dish so you can watch one channel while recording another, which we install.
What happens when you install a Sky dish?
We look at your property first, including the roof pitch and the direction the dish needs to face, explain the options, and agree the neatest cable route from the dish to your Sky box before fitting.
Can you replace my old dish with a new one?
Yes. An old, rusty dish can be swapped for a new one for better picture quality and signal strength.
Can I use my existing dish for Freesat?
In most cases, yes. A Freesat box can use your existing dish. Dishes need precise alignment, so if the picture is poor or the dish has been knocked, call us to set it up properly.
Can I use my old Sky dish for Freesat after cancelling Sky?
Usually, yes. Once Sky is cancelled, the same dish can still receive the free-to-air Freesat channels with a Freesat box.
