Typical jobs
- Ethernet points behind the TV and in home offices
- Cabling to Wi-Fi access points
- Network runs to garden rooms and outbuildings
- Small office cabling with a patch panel and switch
Every point is tested and labelled so you know which socket is which.
Which cable do you need?
- Cat5e: fast and reliable; plenty for most homes and small offices
- Cat6: higher speeds and better for busy networks, home offices and small business servers
- Fibre optic: for moving large amounts of data quickly, such as long runs between buildings
We wire single points-to-point runs and multi-point networks for homes and businesses. If your internet is slow or keeps dropping, the problem is often the cabling rather than the Wi-Fi.

Ethernet points & data cabling: common questions
Can you run cable without damaging decor?
We route through lofts, floor voids and existing cable paths where possible and agree the route with you before starting.
Which Ethernet cable is best for my home?
Cat5e is fine for most homes. Cat6 suits home offices, heavy streaming and small business networks. Fibre is for large data transfers or long runs. We will recommend the right one for you.
Can you upgrade my old network cabling?
Yes. We replace outdated wiring with current Cat5e or Cat6 for the fastest, most stable connection.
Will a new router fix my slow connection?
Sometimes, but not always. If the cabling inside your home is old or damaged, it may need upgrading too. We test both before recommending anything.
Can you set up Wi-Fi as well?
Yes. We install Wi-Fi access points and mesh systems alongside Ethernet points.
